Dr Stanowski
Dr Matthew Stanowski is a general and robotic urologist consulting in Liverpool, Campbelltown and Revesby.
He operates at Sydney South West Private, Campbelltown Private and Hurstville Private Hospitals as well as working as a Staff Specialist at Campbelltown Public Hospital.
He is a graduate of Sydney University and completed his urological training in New South Wales, with the majority of training in West and South West Sydney. During his training he was awarded as NSW Junior Doctor of the Year (2011).
He completed a dedicated Uro-Oncological Robotic Fellowship in a high volume UK unit. He is proficient in robotic radical prostatectomy, robotic cystectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy and robotic ureteric re-implantation.
During this time presented at several international conferences and was an invited plenary speaker to BAUS 2019 meeting.
He has a keen interest in teaching, is a Conjoint Lecturer with Western Sydney University.
He is a current clinical tutor, examiner and the urology term supervisor for medical students from Western Sydney University and runs dedicated weekly teaching sessions for local registrars.
Aside from robotic oncology, he has an interest in men’s health including erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, voiding difficulties and kidney stones.
He is easy going, caring and focused on providing individually tailored management for his patients.
He keeps up to date with latest evidence so that he can guide his patients and their family through the variety of treatments that are available to get the best possible outcomes for them as an individual.
