Robotic Surgery

At Macarthur Urology we pride ourselves on the quality of robotic surgery we are able to offer. We are able to offer robotic surgery in both public and private hospitals.

Robotic surgery is an advanced, minimally invasive, alternative to more traditional open operations. It offers less blood loss, reduced post-operative pain and more rapid return to function.

Our surgeons have extensive experience and have completed intensive training including dedicated robotic fellowships and additional training at expert centres.

We currently offer the following robotic procedures:

  • Robotic Assisted Radical Prostatectomy with Nerve Sparing
  • Extended Pelvic Lymph Node Dissection
  • Robotic Assisted Partial Nephrectomy
  • Robotic Assisted Radical Nephrectomy
  • Robotic Assisted Radical Cystectomy
  • Robotic Assisted Simple Prostatectomy
  • Robotic Pyeloplasty

For further specific information about these procedures, please see our Patient Information page.
